BRIEF
The
Challenge
There is a wealth of patient and citizen information available, however, because it is fragmented it is not coming to its full utility. Therefore, IMPROVE aims to use Patient Generated Health Data (for example, from m-health and e-health technologies, Patient-Reported Outcome Measures and Patient Reported Experience) to gain improved insights into the real-life behaviour of and challenges faced by, patients of all ages with complex, chronic diseases and comorbidities.

The project members of IMPROVE will develop a framework incorporated into a platform, which allows to integrate patient input and patient-generated data for use in decision-making, benefit-risk evaluation and value assessment of integrated healthcare solutions.

As experts in project management, and data science and infrastructure, PredictBy contributes to the following tasks:
IMPROVE will facilitate the clinical adoption of Value Based Health Care. Specifically, the IMPROVE platform will enable the smart use of patient input and patient generated evidence to:

Advance the role of patient preference and patient experience in the context of treatment selection,

Improve medical device design based on patient preferences and experiences,

Facilitate faster market entry of patient-centric and cost-effective advanced integrated care solutions.
PredictBy is the project manager and technical coordinator of the project. In addition, as experts in data science and infrastructure PredictBy will mainly be responsible for establishing the necessary solutions to collect, integrate and analyse real-world data which allow for the refinement of the IMPROVE framework. Additionally, We are also responsible for the pilot study design and the cost-effectiveness analysis of the framework as well as for the sustainability and exploitation plan to ensure that the framework will be utilized, also after the course of the project.
